The Nasdaq dropped 1% on Tuesday as chip and megacap shares took a hit ahead of
Big Tech earnings, while strength in financial stocks kept the Dow afloat in
anticipation of a key U.S. Federal Reserve policy decision this week.  .N 
    At 13:45 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.3%. The S&P
500  .SPX  was down 0.63% at 5,429.34 and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down
1.57% at 17,097.146.
