Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights
Star Energy (AIM:STAR) announces that it has been notified that Ross Glover, Chief Executive Officer, and Frances Ward, Chief Financial Officer, have exercised options over an aggregate of 777,812 ordinary shares of 0.002 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at nil cost pursuant to the 2015 Management Retention Plan and the 2016 Executive Incentive Plan (the "Option Shares"). To satisfy the option exercise, 777,812 new Ordinary Shares will be issued ("New Ordinary Shares"). The New Ordinary Shares will be admitted to trading on AIM pursuant to the Company's block listing admission facility announced on 21 May 2026.
Ross Glover has exercised 643,424 Option Shares and therefore, following this transaction, he is interested in 1,125,870 Ordinary Shares representing 0.58% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Frances Ward has exercised 134,388 Option Shares and therefore, following this transaction, she is interested in 371,475 Ordinary Shares representing 0.19% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Following the exercise, Ross Glover and Frances Ward intend to sell Ordinary Shares to cover tax and national insurance liabilities.
Total Voting Rights
The issued share capital of the Company following the above issue of New Ordinary Shares will be 192,642,955 Ordinary Shares; the number of deferred shares remains 303,305,534. The total number of voting rights in Star Energy will be 192,642,955 Ordinary Shares, which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Star Energy under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
