** Shares of diversified holding co  STRR.O  rise 9% to
$1.21 premarket; set to snap a two-day losing streak, if gains
hold
    ** Co's unit KBS Builders Inc signs ~$9 mln contract to
manufacture 72 modules for the construction of 4 new dormitories
for a college in New England; production to likely commence in

    ** STRR says this project is the largest contract in KBS'
history and launches the unit's expansion into student housing
segment
    ** About 1.1 mln shares of the Old Greenwich,
Connecticut-based company have traded so far, ~336.1% of their

    ** As of last close, stock had fallen ~56.5% YTD
