Technology stocks pushed Wall Street's major averages higher on Wednesday as the
race for the White House went down to the wire, although investors remained
worried about the prospect of a contested result.  .N 
    At 10:34 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.91% at
28,005.03. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 2.74% at 3,461.49 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 3.75% at 11,579.452.
