July 10 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1930 GMT on Friday:
** Infrastructure investor CVC DIF has entered into an exclusivity agreement to acquire a majority stake in Italian special waste management company EcoEridania after emerging as the preferred bidder in a competitive auction process, two people close to the matter said on Friday. nL8N43C0S2
** U.S. investment firm Apollo Global Management <APO.N> launched a £5.7 billion ($7.7 billion) bid for easyJet <EZJ.L> , trumping a rival offer from Castlelake and setting up a potential takeover battle for one of Europe's biggest airlines. nL4N43C0CW
** Arthur J Gallagher & Co's U.S. wholesale brokerage Risk Placement Services has acquired Overland Park, Kansas-based Med James, it said on Thursday. nL6N43C0H4
** State Bank of India <SBI.NS> will sell a 1.42% stake in asset management unit SBI Funds Management <SBIA.NS> to 30 investors for 16.55 billion rupees ($173.5 million) in a pre-IPO placement, the lender said on Thursday. nL4N43B1QT
** Aviva has signed an agreement to purchase the remaining 26% share of Aviva Life Insurance Company India Ltd (Aviva India) from Dabur Invest Corp, its local joint venture partner. nL6N43C0G4
** Marex Group will acquire Singapore-based clearing business Bright Point International, the firm said late on Thursday, as it seeks to expand its footprint across Asia-Pacific and gain access to Chinese markets. nL4N43C08D
