Straumann rises pre-market on 'solid' H1 results
BUZZ-Straumann rises pre-market on 'solid' H1 results ** Shares in Straumann STMN.S rise around 2% in pre-market trade after the Swiss dental implants maker posted H1 results slightly above expectations
** Straumann posts H1 revenue of CHF 1.38 bln ($1.70 bln), roughly in line with CHF 1.37 bln seen in a Vara consensus, while its core EBIT of CHF 355 mln and a margin of 25.7%, slightly exceed consensus of CHF 350 mln and 25.4%, respectively
** "Overall, the results are solid," Vontobel says, adding top line meets expectations, driven by strong development in Asia Pacific, excluding China
** J.P.Morgan sees some boost to shares from the small beat and FY outlook confirmation
** The broker adds the CEO transition news is a surprise, which might slightly temper the share boost as Guillaume Daniellot "was well liked"; JPM, however, says it looks "well-managed"
