Stride shares leap after bullish guidance surprise

** Shares in Stride Inc  LRN.N  were up 14% in after the bell
trading on Tues following the education co's quarterly report
and financial guidance for 2023
    ** LRN's fiscal second quarter report included EPS of $1.19
vs $1 in year-ago quarter while revenue rose 11.9% to $458.4 mln
    ** It forecast 2023 rev in a range of $1.775 bln to $1.815
bln compared with avg analyst expectation for $1.73 bln,
according to Refinitiv, which shows 5 analysts covering LRN
    ** Stock last traded at $36.20 in after market trading
compared with median PT of $48.50 and closing price of $32 for
the regular session on Tues
