Trading and Business Update
Strip Tinning Holdings plc ("Strip Tinning" or the "Company"), a leading
supplier of specialist connection systems for battery modules and automotive
glazing applications, is pleased to report it has now received the purchase
order for its battery system connector for the D phase of the Zoox Robotaxi
project. Parts will be delivered during Q4 2025 and Q1 2026. D phase is the
final stage before the start of serial production which is scheduled to start
at Strip Tinning in April 2026.
This BT nomination for the supply of the Cell Contact System ("CCS") for the
battery pack modules for the Robotaxi vehicle programme is the largest of
the Company's 3 major nominations.
As previously notified, trading during FY25 has had its share of headwinds
from areas such as US tariffs and supply restrictions, however with Q3 trading
now complete the Board remains very confident in achieving current market
expectations. ¹
Furthermore, Strip Tinning is pleased to advise that its 2023 R&D tax
credit claim of £269k has been accepted and paid by HMRC.
