** Shares of Indian clinical-stage bio pharmaceutical
company Sun Pharma Advanced Research Co Ltd  SPRC.NS  jump as
much as 12.7% to 226.90 rupees, their biggest intra-day pct gain
since June 21
    ** SPRC.NS top pct gainer on India's Nifty Smallcap 100
index .NIFSMCP100
    ** More than 4.1 mln shares change hands by 0905 GMT, 13.7x
30-day avg of 303,469 shares
    ** Nifty Smallcap index .NIFSMCP100 rises as much as 1.7%,
in its biggest intra-day pct gain since Aug 1
    ** Stock down 29.8% so far this year as of last close vs an
18.1% fall in the Nifty Smallcap 100 index .NIFSMCP100
