** Shares of bio-pharmaceutical firm Sun Pharma Advanced
Research Company Ltd  SPRC.NS  rise as much as 5.9%, its biggest
intraday jump in two weeks 
    ** Co says U.S.-based Abraxis Biosciences withdrew patent
infringement complaint filed against the former for its new drug
application (NDA) for Taclantis, a metastatic breast cancer drug

    ** Abraxis filed the complaint in a U.S. court in August,
saying Sun's Taclantis NDA filing infringed its patent

    ** Co will also inform U.S. FDA that complaint is withdrawn
in order to vacate 30-month stay 
    ** Stock down 18.2% this year, as of last close
