** Shares of Hong Kong and mainland-listed Apple's AAPL.O suppliers rise after a U.S. court blocks most Trump tariffs saying the president exceeded his authority

** In China, shares of Lens Technology 300433.SZ, Goertek Inc 002241.SZ, Luxshare Precision Industry 002475.SS rise between 2.7% and 3%

** In Hong Kong, Cowell e Holdings 1415.HK, AAC Tech 2018.HK, Sunny Optical 2382.HK and BYD Electronic 0285.HK surge between 2.3% and 4%

** A U.S. trade court blocked President Donald Trump's tariffs from going into effect in a sweeping ruling on Wednesday that found the president overstepped his authority by imposing across-the-board duties on imports from U.S. trading partners

** The judges also ordered the Trump administration to issue new orders reflecting the permanent injunction within 10 days

** The Trump administration, minutes later, filed a notice of appeal and questioned the authority of the court

** Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH rises 1.7%, Hang Seng Index .HSI gains 0.8%

** Blue-chip CSI 300 Index .CSI300 and Shanghai Composite Index .SSEC add 0.6% and 0.7%, respectively
