Wall Street's main indexes slumped on Monday as fears of the United States
tipping into recession following weak economic data last week rippled through
global markets. .N
At 12:19 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.92% at
38,973.37. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 2.03% at 5,237.82 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 2.34% at 16,383.311.
