5% to 472.95 rupees, last up 1.8%
    ** Automotive cable and halogen bulb maker signs memorandum
of understanding with Japan's Chuo Spring Co  5992.T  to form a
50:50 joint venture in India for transmission cables   
    ** Joint venture will get access to Chuo Spring's Japanese
transmission cable technology under technical assistance
agreement
    ** Trading vols at 306,205, 1.4x 30-day average
    ** SUPE up ~13% YTD
