Brazilian pulp maker Suzano raises $196 million with renminbi bonds issuance

SAO PAULO, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Brazilian pulp maker Suzano SUZB3.SA raised 1.4 billion Chinese renminbi ($196 million) in a debt issuance through its subsidiary Suzano International Finance B.V., it said in a securities filing on Friday.

The company said it has priced the issuance in two parts, one of 1.3 billion renminbi due 2028, with yield and coupon of 2.55% per year, and another of 100 million renminbi due 2030, with yield and coupon of 2.9% per year.

Suzano said it will use the resources for general purposes outside China. The deal's settlement is set for October 21, the firm added.
