India's Swan Energy gains on report co plans to raise funds via QIP

** Shares of Swan Energy  SWAN.NS  rise 2.1% to 743.60
rupees
    ** Co, which operates in the textiles, energy and
petrochemical industry, plans to raise 40 billion rupees
($482.15 million) via qualified institutional placement (QIP),

    ** Swan did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for
comment
    ** SWAN stock, which rose 67% in 2023, has gained 45% YTD
