June 17 (Reuters) - Australia's Tabcorp Holdings
TAH.AX on Monday appointed former boss of the Australian
Football League (AFL), Gillon McLachlan, as the bookmaker's new
chief executive officer and managing director.
Former chief executive Adam Rytenskild stepped down in March
after allegedly using offensive language at the workplace.
McLachlan joins the company after a decade as CEO of the AFL
where he contributed to significant revenue growth and oversaw
its expansion.
McLachlan, who will receive an annual fixed remuneration of
A$1.5 million ($991,800), will join Tabcorp on Aug. 5 and will
assume the roles of CEO and managing director upon receiving
regulatory approvals, the company said.
