Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on May 14

TELEFONICA TEF.MC

Telefonica said it was on track to meet its 2026 targets after first-quarter results came in broadly in line with expectations on Thursday despite a net loss due to the impact of the sale of Latin American units.

The company reported a quarterly net loss of 411 million euros, compared with a 1.3 billion euro loss a year earlier, as the sale of its Chilean, Colombian and Mexican units weighed on earnings.

Merlin Properties said on Wednesday its Q1 net profit stood at 77 million euros.

GESTAMP GEST.MC

Gestamp said on Wednesday its Q1 net income stood at 49 million euros.

TALGO TLGO.MC

Talgo said on Wednesday its Q1 EBITDA stood at 9.8 million euros.

MIQUEL Y COSTAS MCM.MC

Miquel y Costas said on Wednesday it will propose a complementary dividend of 5.3 million euros.

AMADEUS AMA.MC

Amadeus said on Wednesday it issued a Eurobond admitted to trading on the Luxembourg stock exchange for 500 million euros, with a maturity date of five years (May 20, 2031), at a fixed interest rate of 3.75%.

CIE AUTOMOTIVE CIEA.MC

BNP Paribas said on Thursday it closed the placement of 3.58% of CIE automotive share capital on behalf of Mahindra for 29.37 euros per share.
