August 13 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 climbed to an intraday record high on Thursday, powered by advances in semiconductor and other heavyweight technology stocks, as a retreat in crude prices and a tame producer price inflation reading lifted risk appetite. .N
     
At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.04% at 53,748.78. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.59% at 7,794.00, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.79% at 26,798.96.
