We would like to inform about the change(s) in the Senior Management Personnel
of
Tata Steel Limited ('Company') as follows:
(a) Superannuation of Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President - Corporate
Services, with effect from May 1, 2025
Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary, currently serving as the Vice President - Corporate
Services will superannuate from the services of the Company with effect from
May 1, 2025.
(b) Re-designation of Mr. D. B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President - Raw Materials
as
Vice President - Corporate Services with effect from May 1, 2025
Consequent to the superannuation of Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary mentioned at point
(a) above, Mr. D. B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President - Raw Materials, is being
re-designated as
Vice President - Corporate Services with effect from May 1, 2025.
(c) Appointment of Mr. Sandeep Kumar as Vice President - Raw Materials with
effect from May 1, 2025
Consequent to the change mentioned at point (b) above, Mr. Sandeep Kumar is
being appointed as Vice President - Raw Materials, with effect from May 1,
2025.
(d) Re-designation of Ms. Atrayee Sanyal, Vice President - Human Resource
Management, as Chief People Officer, Tata Steel Group, with effect from
May 1, 2025
Ms. Atrayee Sanyal, Vice President - Human Resource Management is being
re-designated as Chief People Officer, Tata Steel Group with effect from May
1, 2025. She will be responsible for HR aspects across all Tata Steel
locations.
The details as required in terms of the Master Circular No.
SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/0155 dated November 11, 2024, issued by the Securities
and Exchange Board of India are enclosed herewith as Annexure A.
This disclosure is being made in terms of Regulation 30 and Regulation 51 read
with Para A, Part A of Schedule III of the Securities and Exchange Board of
India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as

Brief Profiles
Mr. D. B. Sundara Ramam
Mr. D. B. Sundara Ramam joined Tata Steel as a Graduate Trainee in 1990 after
completing his B.Sc. Engineering in Mining discipline from NIT, Rourkela.
With a career spanning over 33 years in Tata Steel, he has worked in various
capacities in Coal & Iron Ore Mines of Raw Materials Division as well as
in Ferro Alloys Division of Tata Steel. He was the Principal Executive Officer
(PEO) to CEO&MD, Tata Steel for brief period. He presently holds the
position of Vice President - Raw Materials, Tata Steel.
He holds a First Class Mine Manager's Competency Certificate in Coal from
DGMS. He has completed General Management program from XLRI, Jamshedpur, in
1999. Besides various training programs conducted within India, he has also
attended the following programs abroad:
1. Tata Group Executive Leadership Development Program at UK.
2. Training program at Sustainable Mineral Institute at Brisbane, Australia.
3. Sr. Executive Management Programme at CEDEP, France
4. Global Leadership Development Programme.
Presently, he is the Vice President of National Council of Mining Engineers'
Association of India. He is also appointed as Director in the Governing Boards
of Tata Steel Mineral Canada Limited, Canada, Minas De Benga (Mauritius) Ltd,
and Tata Steel Global Procurement Ltd, Singapore.
He has published a number of papers on topics related to Sustainable Mining
and Innovation.
Mr. Sandeep Kumar
Mr. Sandeep Kumar joined Tata Steel as a Graduate Trainee in 1991 after
completing his
B. Tech. in Mining from IIT-ISM, Dhanbad. He subsequently completed his PG in
International Trade from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi in 1994.
He also underwent various Management & Leadership Development Programs
including that at Leeds University Business School in UK where he won the
British Chevening Scholarship in 1999 and at CEDEP, France where he attended
its flagship General Management program in 2017.
Mr. Kumar began his professional career at the Company's Mines Division in
1991 and subsequently joined the Ferro-Alloys & Minerals Division at
Kolkata in 1994 after completing his PG. In 2001, he joined the Office of
Dy. MD (New & Allied Business) as Executive Officer, and thereafter moved
to International Trading Division as Head-International Trade. He also served
as Regional Sales Manager in Nepal and Dubai before being appointed in 2006 as
Executive Officer, MD's Office at Mumbai. In 2008, he was promoted and
transferred as Managing Director of S&T Mining (JV of Tata Steel &
SAIL) and in 2012 he was appointed Executive In-Charge of Industrial
By-Products Management Division. Subsequently, in 2017 he moved to Tata
Metaliks as Managing Director. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Tata
Steel Downstream Products Limited since January 2023.
Mr. Kumar comes with over 32 years of rich and varied business experience. He
has been a high performing leader with a proven track record. His achievement
orientation and strategic mindset has provided able leadership to the
companies he has led as Managing Director.
He has been closely associated with various industry bodies and served in
FY24-25 as:
1. Chairman of CII West Bengal State Council
2. Managing Committee member of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce &
Industry (BCCI)
Ms. Atrayee Sanyal
Ms. Atrayee Sanyal is the Vice President - Human Resource Management at Tata
Steel. She joined Tata Steel in the year 1998. Joining from Hindustan Unilever
after a stint in Market Research in Mumbai, Ms. Atrayee joined Tata Steel,
Kolkata in the Marketing function.
A graduate from Calcutta University and an MBA, she completed the General
Management Programme from CEDEP (INSEAD) and also won the British Chevening
Scholarship in leadership & management. Ms. Atrayee has spearheaded the
Branding Journey for Tata Steel from the year 1999, building brands in a
commodity industry like steel. She has grown in the Marketing and Sales
function by handling various retail and B2SME brands. She was appointed the
Chief of Marketing & Sales for Branded Products Retail and Solutions in
2014.
She was appointed the Chief Diversity Officer for the organisation while in
Marketing & Sales and has passionately taken forward the journey of
Diversity & Inclusion for the Company. She joined the Human Resource
Division in 2017 and has handled multiple areas in this function involving
white collared and blue collared employees. In addition, she is part of the
Profit Centre Councils of two Divisions in Tata Steel and is also a Member of
the Board of Directors of two subsidiary companies of Tata Steel.
