Director/PDMR Shareholding
      Tate & Lyle PLC (the Company) has been informed that 3,720 ordinary       shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company (Shares) were       allotted today under the Tate & Lyle 2001 Sharesave Scheme to Javed       Ahmed, an Executive Director of the Company. The option price was 418.00       pence per Share and the transaction took place in London. Following this       allotment, Mr Ahmed now has an interest in 1,292,127 Shares.    
      This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the       FCAs Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
