      Tate & Lyle PLC (the Company) has been informed today that on 23 June       2016 Sybella Stanley, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased       a total of 4,983 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the       Company (Shares) at a price of 626.78 pence per Share on the London       Stock Exchange. Ms Stanley had not previously held any shares in the       Company.    
      This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the       FCAs Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
