      Tate & Lyle PLC (the ‘Company’) has been informed today that Katherine 
      Tucker, a person closely associated with Warren Tucker, a Person 
      Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, acquired 4,321 ordinary shares 
      of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company (“Shares”) at a purchase 
      price of 701.894 pence per share.
    

      The notification below, which has been made in accordance with the
