BUZZ-UK's Tate & Lyle jumps on $3.6 billion takeover by Ingredion ** Shares of British food ingredients maker Tate & Lyle TATE.L up 12.33% at 552 pence, top gainer on London's mid caps index .FTMC
** TATE agrees to an offer by U.S. rival Ingredion INGR.N that values co at about £2.7 billion ($3.60 billion) in equity value and £3.7 billion in enterprise value** TATE to receive 595 pence cash per share & up to 20 pence in dividends
** Up to Friday's close, stock had risen 31.1%, compared with a 2.63% YTD increase in FTMC($1 = 0.7508 pounds)
