TNT PRODUCTION LINE
Poland's Nitro-Chem, a major supplier of trinitrotoluene (TNT) for NATO countries' armies, will build a new production line to double its output of the explosive, officials said on Monday.
TAURON
Polish power utility Tauron TPE.WA posted a fall in its fourth-quarter net profit on Monday, hit by state price-cap provisions and a sharp drop in generation earnings.
The utility's net profit fell by almost 11% year on year to 416 million zlotys ($112 million), down from 467 million zlotys in the same period a year earlier.
BANK HANDLOWY
Poland's Bank Handlowy BHW.WA reported a 5% drop in its 2025 net profit to 1.67 billion zlotys ($449.4 million) on Tuesday, as falling interest rates weighed on its net interest income.
HOUSING PROGRAM
The Polish Finance Minister said that the government will support its housing program with 6.7 billion zlotys ($1.80 billion) this year, and together with funds from the National Recovery Plan (KPO), this amount could reach 8.7 billion zlotys ($2.33 billion), Puls Biznesu daily reported.
