April 8 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on the region's markets or individual stocks.

USA/IRAN: U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran on Tuesday, less than two hours before his deadline for Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face devastating attacks on its civilian infrastructure.

ALSTOM ALSO.PA: Train maker Alstom said on Tuesday it had extended its contract for operation and maintenance of the shuttle system at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by five years, valued at around 140 million euros ($162 million).

ENGIE ENGIE.PA: French utility Engie announced nearly 400 MW of new battery storage projects in Europe, including two projects totaling 278 MW in Spain and a 110 MW facility in France, with construction beginning in 2027 and commissioning in 2028.

GROUPE LDC LOUP.PA: French poultry group LDC reported full-year revenue of 7.28 billion euros, exceeding its 7 billion euro target originally set for 2026-2027, and said it expected to significantly surpass its annual core profit target of over 560 million euros.
