Technip Energies shares fall after BPIFrance reduces stake

** Shares in French engineering company Technip Energies TE.PA fall 4% after French state bank BPIFrance announced the successful completion of a private share placement

** Bpifrance announced the sale of 3.57 million shares to qualified institutional investors, representing 2.01% of the group's capital

** The placement prices the stock at 39.0 euros per share, raising a total amount of about 139 million euros ($163.55 million)

** Technip share price at previous market close was 40.18 euros

** Up to the previous session's close, shares in Technip Energies were up 23.7%​ YTD

($1 = 0.8499 euros)
