    Italy's biggest telecoms group reports quarterly results on
Wednesday, after an April 30 deadline passed without a
memorandum of understanding with state lender CDP over a
proposed merger of TIM's network assets with those of CDP-owned
Open Fiber. TIM and CDP need more time to clinch a preliminary
agreement on the objectives, structure and main evaluation
criteria for the integration project, two sources close to the
matter said.
