("Technology Minerals" or the "Company")
Recyclus launches crowdfunding campaign with Crowdcube
Technology Minerals Plc (LSE: TM1), the first UK listed company focused on
creating resource and manufacturing resilience through a sustainable circular
economy for battery metals and other critical resources, is pleased to
announce that its 48.35% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group
("Recyclus"), has launched a crowdfunding campaign (the "Fundraising") with
FCA regulated Crowdcube Capital Limited ("Crowdcube"), the equity crowdfunding
platform.
It has been a significant 12 months for Recyclus, marked by commercial growth,
operational scale-up and record financial performance. Year-on-year revenue
for Recyclus increased by 179% in 2025, with July and August representing the
company's first profitable months, whilst December delivered its strongest
month in terms of both revenue and contract wins.
The funds raised will be used to purchase additional plant equipment designed
to improve productivity and utilisation, optimise recycled material outputs
and increase the value derived from each tonne processed. Recyclus is
working to strengthen the UK's domestic supply chains for critical battery
materials, operating the UK's first industrial scale lithium-ion ("Li-ion")
battery recycling facility in Wolverhampton. By addressing the challenges
around battery waste, Recyclus supports a more resilient and sovereign supply
chain for critical minerals in an increasingly electrified world.
The Crowdcube campaign has Recyclus at a pre-money valuation of £30m. For
further information on the Fundraise that is eligible for relief under the
Enterprise Investment Scheme ("EIS"), refer to the Recyclus website
https://recyclusgroup.com/ (https://recyclusgroup.com/) .
Alex Stanbury, CEO of Technology Minerals, said: "With electrification
gathering pace all the time, the UK needs to rapidly strengthen its supply
chain for critical battery materials. Recyclus, is aiming to tackle this by
recovering those much-needed materials from Li-ion batteries, and after a
record-breaking 2025, the team at Recyclus are excited to be taking the next
step in this mission. The Fundraising raise will be used by Recyclus to scale
its operational capability, and by investing in additional plant equipment,
will aim to significantly enhance the quality and yield of the materials
recovered, enabling greater value from every tonne processed."
This announcement is not intended to be a financial promotion. No
recommendation is given by the Company or its directors to invest in the
Fundraising. Please note the risk factors and other disclaimers with respect
to the Fundraising which can be found below. This announcement has been
approved by Crowdcube and is provided by the Company as an update which is
material to the Company in compliance with the Company's disclosure
obligations.
