March 18 (Reuters) - Italian semiconductor and microelectronics company Technoprobe TPRO.MI reported a 57.4% jump in full-year net profit to 98.8 million euros ($113.7 million), driven by strong demand linked to artificial intelligence chips.
Revenues rose 15.7% to 628.4 million euros, as growth in high-end chip testing more than offset weaker automotive and industrial demand earlier in the year.
"Approximately 38% of our revenues are now attributable to AI-related applications," CEO Stefano Felici said, adding that testing volumes continued to grow strongly.
EBITDA rose 47.5% to 201.4 million euros, lifting the margin to 32.1% from 25.1% a year earlier
Technoprobe ended 2025 with a positive net financial position of 684.2 million euros
The group confirmed medium-term targets for 2027 of 850–900 million euros in revenues and an EBITDA margin of 38%-40%
For the first quarter of 2026, Technoprobe forecast revenues of about 182 million euros and an EBITDA margin of 35.4%
