Brief: Portugal's Teixeira Duarte signs 78.6 mln euro deal in Algeria

April 1 (Reuters) - Teixeira Duarte SA  TDSA.LS : 
    * Says that its units Teixeira Duarte - Engenharia e 
Construcoes SA and Teixeira Duarte Algerie SPA have received an 
additional contract from Gulf Bank Algeria 
    * Deal is for implementation of phase III of the 
reinforcement of the building structure project, which includes 
interior and exterior finishes, as well as maintenance of the 
building for a period of 24 months after completion of the works 
    * The deadline for execution of the works is of 24 months 
and the total value of the contract amounts to 78.6 million 
euros ($89.4 million), of which 58 percent will be paid in euros 
and the remaining 42 percent in Algerian dinars 
    * Overall project value, including the three stages, amounts
