Brief: Teixeira Duarte wins 218 million euros contract in Algeria

July 6 (Reuters) - Teixeira Duarte  TDSA.LS : 
    * Announced on Friday that its subsidiary Teixeira Duarte - 
Engenharia e Construcoes SA received on Thursday a contract and 
work order notification from "Agence Nationale des Autoroutes" 
of Algeria, in the amount of 218 million euros ($241 million) 
    * Project called "Realization de la Penetrante Autoroutiere 
Reliant le Port de Skikda a l'Autoroute Est-Ouest sur 31 
Kilométres En 02X03 Voies", to be done within 24 months     
    * Teixeira Duarte Group shall receive the amount 
corresponding to 164 million euros, 31.2 pct of which will be 
paid in euros and the remaining 68.8 pct in Algerian dinars
