Wall Street's main stock indexes rose on Friday after a strong jobs report that
also suggested easing wage pressures, boosting the chances of a soft landing for
the U.S. economy.  .N 
    
    At 13:39 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.94% at
38,961.45. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.23% at 5,210.48 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.53% at 16,293.92.
