Transaction In Own Sharesand Total Voting Rights 
 
Telecom Plus PLC announces that today it has purchased, on the London Stock
Exchange, 20,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each to be held in treasury
("Shares"). Of these Shares 10,000 were purchased at 1200 pence per share,
7,000 at 1190 pence per share and 3,000 were purchased at 1195 pence per
share. 
 
Following this transaction, the total number of ordinary shares (excluding
those held in treasury) in Telecom Plus PLC is 79,996,000 with 60,000 shares
held in treasury. 
 
The total number of voting rights in Telecom Plus PLC is therefore 79,996,000.
 This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Telecom Plus PLC, under the
Disclosure and Transparency Rules. 
 
There are 500,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in Telecom Plus PLC held in
the Telecom Plus PLC JSOP Share Trust on which voting rights have been waived.
 These shares are included in the above total voting rights figure.
