Britain's five leading banks - NatWest, HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds and Santander - on Monday committed to lending a combined 11 billion pounds ($15 billion) to help firms invest and expand into new international markets, the British government said.

A fire broke out at a Repsol REP.MC refinery in Cartagena in southeastern Spain on Monday evening, but was quickly brought under control without causing any injuries, local authorities said.

Airtificial said on Tuesday it had signed three contracts in Morocco, Thailand and Romania.

Santa Barbara has filed a complaint alleging Indra improperly obtained confidential technical documents on battle tank manufacturing for the Spanish army, online news website El Confidencial reported on Tuesday.
