Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

Jan 22 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Thursday:

** Beazley BEZG.L on Thursday rejected a 7.67-billion-pound ($10.3 billion) takeover offer from Zurich Insurance ZURN.S as materially undervaluing the UK speciality insurer, adding it was lower than another proposal the group turned down last year. nL6N3YN0J2

** Swedish private equity firm EQT EQTAB.ST will buy British investment firm Coller Capital for $3.2 billion, the two companies said on Thursday, marking EQT's entry into the rapidly growing secondary market. nL4N3YN0L2

** British insurer Prudential PRU.L said on Thursday it had agreed to buy an additional 19% stake in Sri Han Suria, the holding company that owns Prudential Assurance Malaysia, for around 1.52 billion ringgit ($376.61 million). nL4N3YN0ML

** ArcelorMittal South Africa ACLJ.J said on Thursday it was in advanced talks with the state-owned Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) that could lead to a potential transaction. nL8N3YN0KK

** Holcim HOLN.S plans to make around 15 acquisitions in 2026, CEO Miljan Gutovic told Reuters at the World Economic Forum in Davos, maintaining the pace of the building materials company's M&A drive. nL1N3YN09M

** French telecoms operators Orange ORAN.PA, Bouygues Telecom BOUY.PA and Iliad-owned Free said on Thursday they were in ongoing talks with Altice Group to buy a large part of its telecommunications activities in France. nL6N3YN0HS

** Azerbaijan's state oil and gas company SOCAR has signed an agreement with Italy's Eni ENI.MI to acquire a 10% stake in the Baleine offshore oil and gas field in the Ivory Coast, the two companies said on Thursday. nL1N3YN078

** Telenor TEL.OL said on Thursday it would sell its 30.3% stake in Thailand's True Corporation TRUE.BK for 39 billion Norwegian crowns ($3.92 billion), its second divestment from Asia in recent months, lifting the Norwegian group's shares 8%. nL1N3YN05Q

** U.S. insurance broker Trucordia announced that it has acquired Dunedin-based Florida Insurance. nL6N3YM0G2
