    BUREAU VERITAS  BVI.PA :
    Bureau Veritas said Monday it has named Marc Roussel as
executive vice-president of Commodities, Industry and Facilities
(CIF) in France and Africa.
    CARMAT  ALCAR.PA :
    The French artificial heart maker expects to break-even in
2027, it said on Monday, as it gradually resumes implants and
faces strong demand in Europe ahead of its commercial launch in
the United States.

    EU/CROP:
    Grain crops in the European Union have largely escaped
winter damage so far, but temperature swings in recent weeks
could leave them weakened, EU crop-monitoring service MARS said
on Monday.

    French power company Engie said on Monday that the fact that
France had warmer temperatures in 2022 compared to the previous
year resulted in lower volumes for its gas distribution
activities, as well as lower hydro power production.

    France has dropped plans to allow sugar beet growers to use
again this year a pesticide banned over risks to bees, after a
