Wall Street's main indexes slipped in volatile trading on Tuesday, ahead of a
symposium at Jackson Hole later this week and minutes from the Federal Reserve's
meeting last month which could offer clues on a September interest rate cut.

    At 13:33 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.18% at
40,823.52. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.28% at 5,592.74 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.42% at 17,800.993.
