The Nasdaq index fell on Wednesday as disappointing results and warnings from
Microsoft and Alphabet sparked losses in megacap companies and raised fears of
slowing economic growth, while an upbeat earnings report from Visa kept the Dow
afloat.  .N 
    At 11:31 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.91% at
32,126.8. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.53% at 3,879.45 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.12% at 11,186.035.
