** BABA and Chinese tech giant Tencent Holdings 0700.HK in talks to invest in DeepSeek at $20 bln-plus valuation, reports the Information

** Alibaba is sharpening its AI strategy by focusing on AI agents to connect its different businesses

** BABA announced Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) Business Group last month to focus on building AI-native work platforms

** Co's Hongkong-listed shares closed 3.5% lower on Wednesday

** As of last close, BABA's U.S.-listed shares were down 7.6% YTD
