** THC posts Q1 adj. profit of $4.36 per share, beating analysts' estimates of $3.13 according to data compiled by LSEG

** Co expects annual adj. profit to be between $11.99 and $13.12 per share compared with previously projected profit in the range of $11.74 to $12.84

** Analysts estimate annual adj. profit of $12.17 per share

** As of last close, THC had fallen 1.8% YTD
