The S&P 500 and the Dow hovered at levels seen more than a week ago on Friday,
as investors took comfort from data pointing to robust economic activity in the
world's biggest economy. .N 
    
At  13:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.79% at
44,214.76.The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.31% at 5,967.44, and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.14% at 18,999.88.
