Futures tracking Wall Street's main indexes were subdued on Tuesday as investors
refrained from placing big bets ahead of the Federal Reserve's interest rate
decision and kept a close eye on a stream of earnings updates.  .N 
    
    At 9:01 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.45% at 38,386. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.42% at 5,125.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
0.46% at 17,821.5.
