APPLICATION TO LIST SHARES
Application has been made for the block listing of 38,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trade on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.
These shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to the exercise of employee share options under the Tesco PLC Savings-Related Share Option Scheme (1981) (37,000,000 shares) and the Tesco PLC Irish Savings-Relates Share Option Scheme (2000) (1,000,000 shares).
Application has also been made for the admission of these shares to the Official List and to trade on the Main Securities Market of the Irish Stock Exchange.
On exercise the shares will rank equally with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of Tesco PLC.
Admission is expected to be effective on 22 February 2018.
