BUENOS AIRES, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Argentina's Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS) said on Monday it launched tenders for new gas transport capacity from the Vaca Muerta shale formation and started construction on the Perito Moreno pipeline expansion, which should add 14 million cubic meters per day of capacity.

• The works are due to be completed by winter 2027 and will include three new plants in La Pampa province, totaling 90,000 HP of capacity, the company said in a statement.

• TGS is also developing 12 million cubic meters per day of additional capacity in its regulated transport system to supply the Greater Buenos Aires area and northern Argentina.

• The company launched two open tenders for firm transport services on the new capacity in both the Perito Moreno pipeline and its regulated system.

• TGS was awarded the expansion contract in October 2025 by state-owned ENARSA.
