TKMS welcomes German plan for up to eight new navy frigates BERLIN, June 24 (Reuters) - German shipbuilder TKMS TKMS.DE said on Wednesday it was delighted to make a significant contribution to strengthening the German navy and would hand over the first frigate in 2029.
TKMS said the government's plan to procure four ships initially, with an option for a further four, opened the prospect of involving the German shipyard industry, adding it was open to discussions with its industry partners.
