TOKYO, March 13 (Reuters) - Tokyo Electric Power 9501.T decided to suspend power generation and transmission from its Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear plant's No. 6 reactor after an alarm detected a minor electricity leak from the generator, public broadcaster NHK reported on Friday.
The reactor shows no abnormalities and continues nuclear operations safely, and the utility is examining whether this could affect the planned start of commercial operations on March 18, NHK cited TEPCO as saying.
