Kyiv said on Friday it was seeking more information about a proposal by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to extend NATO's mutual defence umbrella to Ukraine without offering it alliance membership or sending peacekeeping troops.

The hearing aid maker said on Monday it had bought the Polish subsidiary of the German group KIND, active in the hearing healthcare retail sector, thus doubling its retail network in Poland.

Shares closed down 15.9% on Friday, a day after the Italian luxury leather goods group reported that its adjusted operating profit had more than halved last year, citing a slowdown in Asia, with a particularly difficult environment in China.
AUTOMOTIVE
BYD adviser Alfredo Altavilla told MilanoFinanza on Saturday the Chinese carmaker aimed to have 800 dealers in Europe by the end of the year and open five new stores in Italy, where BYD has two at present. In April it will launch a new luxury brand in Milan.
