Canada's TD Bank posts profit jump on strong interest income May 28 (Reuters) - Toronto-Dominion Bank TD.TO reported a rise in second-quarter profit on Thursday, aided by a boost in interest income driven by a resilient Canadian economy.
It reported an adjusted net income of C$4.17 billion ($3.01 billion), or C$2.38 per share, compared with C$3.63 billion, or C$1.97 per share, a year earlier.
