March 8 (Reuters) - Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC)
and France's TotalEnergies TTEF.PA have discussed potential
increases to production at Waha oil company, NOC said in a
statement on Tuesday.
NOC said its Chairman Mustafa Sanalla discussed with Patrick
Pouyanne, CEO of TotalEnergies, the return of Mabrouk oilfield
to production in early 2023.
"The NOC Strategy to increase gas production from onshore
and offshore gas assets was also discussed" the state-owned
company said in the statement.
TotalEnergies (TTEF.PA) said in November that it had won new
deals in Libya, including an increase to its stake in the Waha
oil concessions in the country.
