Jan 6 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Tuesday:

** Parcel locker company InPost  said that it had received an indicative takeover proposal from an unnamed party, sending its share price sharply higher.nL1N3Y704U

** U.S. private equity firm TPG  is close to acquiring UnitedHealth's  Optum UK business, in a deal worth between 1.2 billion pounds ($1.62 billion) and 1.4 billion pounds, Sky News reported.

** STAAR Surgical  said it plans to terminate its merger agreement with Swiss eyecare giant Alcon  after failing to secure enough shareholder votes to approve the deal.nL4N3Y70UJ

** Anheuser-Busch InBev  will buy back a 49.9% stake in its U.S. metal container plants for about $3 billion, the world's top brewer said , at a time of soaring aluminium costs due to tariffs.nL1N3Y7066

** Singapore's Grab Holdings  said it has acquired China-based Infermove, a developer of AI-enabled robotics solutions, to strengthen its first- and last-mile delivery capabilities.nL4N3Y70QG

** Skyward Specialty Insurance Group said on January 5 it has launched Skyward Group, the unified brand for the holding company, following the completion of its $555 million acquisition of Lloyd's insurer Apollo. nL6N3Y70CE

** Jollibee Foods Corp JFC.PS plans to spin off its international operations and list the new unit as an independent company on a U.S. securities exchange, it said in a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange . nL1N3Y704S

** Catastrophe-focused MGU SageSure has completed the acquisition of Gemini Financial Holdings Corporation and its Olympus subsidiaries, it said on January 6. nL6N3Y70CA

** Media billionaire Kerry Stokes made a near $9 billion buyout approach along with U.S.-based long-time suitor Steel Dynamics  for Australia's top steelmaker BlueScope  in a move that would substantially broaden his industrial footprint.nL4N3Y701O

** A judge at Brazil's federal audit court TCU said on Monday that he may consider measures to prevent the sale of assets during the liquidation of Banco Master, a mid‑sized lender shut down by the Brazilian central bank in November after months of liquidity problems. nL1N3Y60NG

** Cathay Pacific Airways <0293.HK> CEO Ronald Lam said that major shareholder Air China's <601111.SS> decision to sell a 1.61% stake in the Hong Kong flagship carrier was a "tactical" move. nL4N3Y705V
